ON THE WAY TO THE TOP: TREKKERS' TRAINING CAMP IN TURKEY
As of today, the track cyclists of the Astana Olympic Training Center are preparing for the Asian Championship in Turkey. The training camp began on January 28 and will continue until February 7. Twelve athletes are participating under the guidance of head coach Svetlana Tarasova and coach Nikita Klevanov. Additionally, mechanic P. Nazarenko and massage therapist Zh. Mambetov have been assigned to the team.
During the camp, athletes undergo intensive training aimed at improving overall endurance, strength, and technical skills. This helps them enhance their performance and prepare for the high demands of the championship.
Such training camps provide an opportunity to focus on technique improvement and practice tactical elements that will be used in competitions. This is especially crucial for track cycling disciplines, where precision and strategy play a key role. We wish our cyclists the best of luck!
