On June 16 this year, Alexander Safarov, the cyclist of the Olympic Training Center for Cycling, won the 3rd place of the Grand Prix (Czechia) in the keirin racing among juniors.

The Grand Prix was held in Brno on the Dukla Brno bicycle racing track. It is a 400 m outdoor concrete velodrome with an underground passage and lighting. The velodrome hosted the 1969 Track Cycling World Championship and the 1981 Track Cycling World Championship. The velodrome has preserved its appearance of 1969 and serves for the TJ Favorit Brno Cycling Club, and is also a venue for various concerts and performances.
