The world star Akon will visit our capital and become the headliner of the night disco “Askaktay Ber, Astana!”, which will take place in honor of the City Day celebration.

Also on this day, June 6, a grand concert of Kazakh and foreign pop stars will take place and it will be held in the republican cycling track "Saryarka".

The head of the capital’s Department of Culture, Bolat Mazhagulov, announced this at a briefing at the Central Communications Service. According to him, this year the headliners of the Capital Day celebration will be world masters of opera and ballet Anna Netrebko and the troupe of the Milanese theater La Scala, pop stars Akon, the Blue group, Polina Gagarina, Larisa Dolina and others.

However, according to the head of the capital’s Department of Culture, domestic pop stars are of no less interest to Astana residents. Night disco “Askaktay ber, Astana!” - a wonderful gift for the capital's youth.

It has been held as part of Capital Day for the fifth year and has already become a brand. Residents and guests of the capital are looking forward to this grandiose show. Let us remember that last year the highlight of the concert was the popular singer Nicole Scherzinger, best known as the vocalist of the Pussycat Dolls.
