The RK Basketball Cup among men's teams of the National League ended yesterday in the capital of Kazakhstan. This was reported by the press service of the Astana basketball club.

Five days of fights will determine the strongest. Among the six participating teams in the Kazakhstan Cup, places were distributed as follows.

Two western clubs from Aktau and Atyrau competed for the bronze award. It turned out to be the ultimate basketball thriller: neither team wanted to concede to the other. The outcome of the match was determined only in the last minutes with a score of 87:72 in favor of the Barsy Atyrau team.

In the match for first place, the current champion of Kazakhstan met with the Kapshagai team. The match turned out to be very interesting. The Kapshagai team opened the scoring in the match. Dmitry Korovnikov's players forced the fight on Astana from the first minutes. But “Astana” was not going to give up the title of the strongest in the country and finished the match with dignity. The final score of the match is 88:76 in favor of the Astana team.

The places on the podium were distributed as follows: the bronze medals of the Cup were taken by the basketball players from Atyrau, the silver medals went to the city of Kapshagai and the gold medals and the Country Cup remained in the capital of Kazakhstan.
