Today, Sapiev Serik Zhumangalievich, Chairman of the Committee for Sports and Physical Culture of the Ministry of Sports and Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, presented Bekbolat Kustutunovich Baizhanov to the Center team, who was appointed acting director of the Olympic Cycling Center for Cycling.

B. Bayzhanov was born in 1978 in the Almaty region. He graduated from the Kazakh National Academy of Sport and Tourism and the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in the following specialties: “Physical Education Teacher” and “Sports Coach”. He is a master of pedagogical sciences.

His work activity began in 2003. In 2003-2006, he worked as a methodologist at the regional boarding school for children gifted in sports named after Bogenbai Batyr, chief specialist of the internal policy of the city of Stepnogorsk, chief specialist of the Sports Committee of the Ministry of Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2008-2014 - chief expert of the Sports Committee of the Ministry of Tourism and Sport, head of department, deputy director of the department.

In 2014-2016, he worked as the head of the management of mass and non-Olympic sports development of the Committee on Sports of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2016-2018, he held the position of head of the department of sports and physical culture of the Mangystau region.

In 2018, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Sports and Physical Culture Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
