On March 14, the Republican cycling track “Saryarka” held another Open Day for children from orphanages and public associations of people with disabilities. As part of the event, the cycling track administration held a number of competitions for guests of the event.

Pupils of the correctional boarding school and the Children's Psychological Medical Social Institution (DPMSU) took part in mini-football and table tennis competitions. Representatives of the public association “Independent Life “Dos” and the “Youth Association of Disabled People” competed in togyzkumalak, table tennis and swimming competitions.

At the end of the competition, guests were treated to a ceremonial presentation of certificates and gifts for prize-winning places. The winners of the competition were honored by Kazakh Olympic champion Olga Shishigina and director of the Republican cycling track “Saryarka” Kali Abishev. Also, the administration of the cycling track gave each person who came memorable gifts in honor of the eve of the Nauryz holiday.

- I am very pleased that we had the honor to attend this event. This kind of competition allows us to get closer together and, in a way, promote a healthy lifestyle among the population. If we people with disabilities set such an example, then other people, first of all the younger generation, should follow our idea.
