In Astana, on December 9, 2016, a festival of ethnocultural associations of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan “25 Years of Peace and Harmony”, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, will be held in the sports complex Republican cycle track.

The festival will summarize the nationwide projects of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan “Weңbala” and “Caravan of Mercy”, presented theatrical, vocal and choreographic performances and compositions, musical and instrumental overtures of ethno-cultural associations from all regions of Kazakhstan, athletic performances.

The event will be attended by members and veterans of the Assembly, leaders and activists of republican and regional ethnocultural associations from all regions, members of parliament, heads of central executive bodies, political parties, religious associations, NGOs, rector of universities, diplomatic missions of foreign states, creative teams, representatives of scientific , creative intellectuals, student youth and the media, more than 10,000 people.
