The fight between the Kazakh legendary boxer Gennady Golovkin and Canadian boxer Steve Rolls will take place on eighth day of June 2019 (in the morning of 9 June by Nur-Sultan standard time) at the Madison Square Garden Arena.

Gennady Gennadyevich Golovkin is the pride of Kazakhstan, a professional middleweight boxer. He is the World Amateur Champion (2003), Olympic Silver Medalist (2004), former WBA World Champion (2010–2018), IBF Champion (2015–2018), WBC Champion (2016–2018), IBO (2011–2018), and The Ring Champion (2018–2018). 

According to The Ring, he is the top boxer, regardless of weight class (September 27, 2017 - to date). Gennady was recognized as the best WBA and WBC boxer in 2017. Gennady Golovkin is Honored Master of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the winner of many international tournaments: 7-time champion of Kazakhstan, World Champion Among the Youth 2000, winner of the First Spartakiad of the Republic of Kazakhstan held in 2001, and Champion of the 3rd East Asian Games (2001).
