Last Saturday the cycle track "Saryarka" gathered an unusual audience. Moms, dads, grandmothers and grandfathers came to cheer for their future champions in the Grand Prix for cycling for 5-6-year-old athletes.

Committee for Sports and Physical Education, the Education Department of Astana, public funds, cycle-schools and the leading training centers of the capital supported the event.

About 250 children took part in the competition "Olympic Hope". Competitions were held in four categories for 5-6-year-olds. The sports distance was 100 meters. In the program of the event, the guests saw the show of animators, master classes, and performance of sports schools.

Prizewinners of the competitions were awarded championship cups, certificates of honor, medals and gifts.
