Kazakhstanis won two medals at cycling competitions in Beijing

On August 30-31, China hosted an international CL1 class cycling tournament on the track, where athletes from the Olympic Training Center for Cycling took part. Following the results of the competition, Andrei Chugay replenished the piggy bank of Kazakhstan with a silver medal.

On the second day of the competition, Sergey Ponomarev climbed to the first step of the podium and he celebrated his victory in “keyin”. The representative of the Kazakhstan team turned out to be stronger than Luo Chichenya from Hong Kong, who won the second place, and Fadhil Muhammad Mohd Zonis from Malaysia, who became the third winner.

We add that six cyclists took part in the main final.
