The winners of the tournament among the media in memory of S. Berdikulov were determined in Astana.

On June 30, the annual national tournament among the media of Kazakhstan on mini-football, dedicated to the memory of the famous publicist, public figure and sports journalist Seidahmet Berdikulov, was completed. This is reported by MIA "Kazinform" with reference to the press service of the Committee for sports and physical culture of the Ministry of culture and sports of Kazakhstan.

This year, 19 teams have applied to participate in the tournament, among them there are representatives of the regional media. I place was taken by the team from Kyzylorda "Akmeshit", II place went to the capital team "Elorda Apparatus", III place was taken by the guys from Taldykorgan, the team"Turan". Also, the best players were determined within the tournament. The title of the best striker got player of the team "Akmeshit" Adilbek Zhakanova, "Best defender" - Azamat Mambetov team "Turan", the best goalkeeper Azamat Nurmatov, representing the team "Elorda akparat", the title of best player of the tournament received Zhasulan Casamassima, speaking for the team "Khabar 24".

The best sports journalists were also awarded at the end of 2017. In the nomination "the Best TV material" was won by the correspondent of TV channel "Khabar 24" Larisa Grechikhina, in the category "Best printed material" won the journalist of the newspaper "Egemen Kazakhstan" Ali inhibitor, in the same nomination was won by the journalist of the newspaper "Aikyn", an additional nomination was received by the journalist of TV channel "Kazakhstan" Aksandar Tabyldy.

The main goal of the tournament is to promote football among the media in the framework of the "Health of the nation" program. The tournament has been held since 1995.

The authorized body in the field of physical culture and sports also, since 1995, holds a National competition for the Seidahmet Berdikulov prize among journalists of Kazakhstan specializing in the coverage of the theme of sports.

In 2011 in Shymkent was held I Games among the media of Kazakhstan in memory of S. Berdikulov in five sports. It is planned that these complex competitions among journalists will be held once in four years and the number of sports in the program of the games will increase.
