Today, we were visited by the president of the International Paralympic Committee, Andrew Parsons.

The purpose of the visit of Andrew Parsons to Astana is to discuss the prospects for the development of the Paralympic movement in our country, as well as the preparations for the upcoming world championship in para-powerlifting, which will be held in July 2019 in Astana.

The International Paralympic Committee is the governing body of the Paralympic movement, organizes summer and winter Paralympic Games and acts as an international federation for 10 Paralympic sports, supervising and coordinating the holding of world championships and other competitions.
