On the eve of the centenary of Kazakhstan cycling, on April 18, 2014, at the Republican cycling track “Saryarka”, together with the Kazakhstan Cycling Federation, an official meeting will be held with cycling veteran Valentina Kuznetsova.

Valentina Kuznetsova (Tselinograd) - master of sports of the USSR, honorary sports figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the USSR national team (1973-1976), member of the Kazakhstan national team (1970-1976).

Kuznetsova - participant of the World Championship in 1974 (Montreal, Canada) - 9th place, bronze medalist of the USSR Championship in the 62.5 km group race in Kiev (Ukraine), silver medalist of the USSR Championship in Kaunas (Lithuania). Winner of the international cycling race "MOSCOW KOMSOMOLETS" in 1975, winner of the USSR Cup in Minsk (Belarus) in 1975. 72-time Champion and medalist of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The meeting program includes stories about past days, about the formation and present-day modern cycling through the eyes of a veteran of Kazakh cycling. A mini-presentation of Kuznetsova’s medal row and a small photo shoot with the participation of athletes from the RK cycling team are also planned.
