From April 3 to 8 of this year in Astana, at the Saryarka cycling track, the country's championships in types of cycling were held: the National Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the omnium among men and women, the winter championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the sprint omnium and in the multi-day race among men, women, juniors and juniors and Republican competitions in sprint, keirin, and group events (boys and girls 15-16 years old). 188 athletes from 15 teams took part in the competition.

The following athletes from the Astana Olympic Training Center (OCT) became winners and prize-winners of the national winter championship:

- sprint omnium (keirin, men, women):

Kirill Kurdidi – 2nd place, Yulia Golubkova – 2nd place, Mukhtar Ramazan – 3rd place, Kristina Chernysheva – 3rd place.

- sprint omnium (keirin, juniors, juniors):

Bazarbekov Dias – 1st place, Proskurina Anna – 1st place, Zhuravsky Danil – 2nd place, Kosolapova Diana – 2nd place, Kotlyar Maxim – 3rd place, Khurmetbekkyzy Gulnaz – 3rd place.

- group race on points:

Karabutov Ilya – 1st place, Kazakhbai Dariya – 3rd place.

- group points race for juniors:

Egizbay Erdaulet – 1st place, Erik Arlan – 2nd place, Yeserkeev Marlen – 3rd place.

- junior group points race:

Khurmetbekkyzy Gulnaz – 1st place, Olga Glushkova – 2nd place, Dinara Kopzhasarova – 3rd place.

The following athletes from the Astana Center for Training and Education became winners and prize-winners of the Republican competitions:

Anel Tashbai – 1st place, Alexandra Tilipskaya – 2nd place, Irina Ivanovskaya – 3rd place.

- keirin:

Irina Ivanovskaya – 2nd place, Alikhan Zhunusov – 3rd place.

- team sprint:

Irina Ivanovskaya, Aruana Tleukhan – 1st place, Aisha Sarbas, Alexandra Tilipskaya – 2nd place.

- sprint (boys, girls):

Azamatuly Zeinolla – 1st place, Irina Ivanovskaya – 2nd place, Egor Kovalenok – 3rd place.

- youth team pursuit race:

Jimma Ivan - 1st place, Kuvarin Ilya - 3rd place.

- girl's team pursuit race:

Miskova Karina, Sarbas Aisha, Tleukhan Aruana – 1st place.

- youth team sprint:

Egor Kovalenok, Kirill Semchenko – 1st place, Artem Markstaler – 2nd place.

- group scratch race:

Markstaler Artem – 1st place.

- group race with elimination:

Mukhtar Ibrahim – 1st place, Semchenko Kirill – 3rd place, Tleukhan Aruan – 3rd place.

The national silver medalist was the athlete of the Astana Center of Culture: Khoroshavin Maxim in the omnium.
