On October 6, a charity athletics race in support of the famous journalist Galina Polevoy was held in Stolichny Park in Astana.

Currently, a veteran of Kazakhstan journalism is struggling with a serious illness and needs an expensive operation abroad. The event was attended by representatives of the media, employees of subordinate sports organizations, as well as employees of the Center for Olympic training in cycling, residents and guests of the city. The collected money will be transferred to the family of Galina Polevoy.
