The UAE Cycling Federation and the Dubai Sports Council announced the launch of a new international women's bike ride - the Dubai Women's Tour, which will take place in the Emirates from February 17 to 20 this year.

The Dubai Women's Tour is the only Union Cyclist International (UCI) women's cycling competition in the Middle East. The tour will feature 14 leading international teams, including Team UAE. The teams will compete in four stages.

The competition is attended by: Agolico Pro Cycling Team, Russian Cogeas Mettler Cycling Team, Belgian Doltcini-Van Eyck Sport, Hungary Fehervar Cycling, British Hitec-Products-ORG, Luxembourg National Team Andy Schleck-Immo Losch, Belgian Ciclotel, French the Feminin team, the Vaiano-Aromitalia-Basso Bikes team, the German cycling team Divas and the women's team of Uzbekistan, as well as cyclists of the national team of Kazakhstan and athletes from the Olympic Training Center for Cycling.
