The republican mini-football tournament was held on the Saryarka bike track

On October 18-19, a Republican mini-football tournament among children with intellectual disabilities was held in the football hall of the Republican Saryarka Cycling Track.

The tournament was organized with the support of the Mayor's Office of Astana, the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Sports and Physical Culture, Samsung Electronics Kazakhstan, the company "Explosion", the Joint-Stock Company "Bus Park" of Astana, the company "Nomad Oil" and "Aurika". The direct sponsor and organizer were the NGO "SpecialOlympics".

The republican tournament started with a mini-football competition among children from the regions of Kazakhstan. After 2 hours of the game, a small press conference was held in the press hall of the metropolitan cycling track, where journalists asked questions to the organizers and participants of the event. 

Closer to noon, the organizers held the official opening ceremony of the Republican tournament with speeches by the heads of departments who supported the holding of this event. Among them were representatives of the Saryarka Republican Cycling Track, the PR manager of Samsung Electronics, the management of SpecialOlympics.

In addition to competitions, children were expected to take guided walks around the city, cultural, educational and entertainment centers of the capital.

Following the results of two days, the best teams participating in the mini-football tournament were revealed. In the first division, the guys from the Mangystau region seemed to be the best, and taldykurganki turned out to be the best among the girls. The second division is the East Kazakhstan region and Aktobe. In the last division, the strength prevailed among the guys from the capital.

No one was left without attention, all the teams left with certificates, cups and small souvenirs. At the end of the competition day, they were waiting for a trip to the capital circus.
