On June 14, 2014, the State Enterprise "Republican Cycling Track "Saryarka" organized a sports event "Velo Life" on its territory, dedicated to the celebration of the 100th anniversary of cycling and the eve of City Day.

The event program included a bicycle race along the route "Velotrek" - "Husen bin Talal" - "Turan" - "Velotrek", bicycle relay races with prize drawings, a concert program with the incendiary presenter Galym Ismagulov and a lot of positive emotions.

Welcoming speeches were made by: Director of the State Enterprise "Republican Cycling Track "Saryarka" Mukashev B.O., Deputy Director of the Department of High Achievement Sports and Sports Reserve of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Sports and Physical Culture Sapashev M.A., Technical Director of the Kazakhstan Cycling Federation Antyshev A. .L., cycling veteran Kuznetsova V.V. Each of them emphasized the importance of the event and wished the competition participants to get the most from participating in “Velo Life”.

The program began with the start of a bike ride, in which employees of the cycling track and employees of the organizations co-organizers of the event took part.

The concert program began with an incendiary performance by the BMH guys, who showed their extreme tricks, then the students of the Zhuldyz rhythmic gymnastics school took to the stage with an equally incendiary performance program. The young dance performer Michael Jackson, Bekpodzha Agisov, also pleased the audience.

The motto of this morning was: “The main thing is not victory, but participation!” The relay participants received not only a lot of impressions from the competition, but also a lot of gifts from the cycling track and the sponsors of the event.

At the end of the holiday, participants in the cycling competition took part in a lottery draw. The prizes were very impressive - subscriptions to the Saryarka fitness center, certificates for visiting the Poad Race restaurant and sports bar, and a certificate from rental shops in Astana.

The administration of the State Enterprise "Republican Cycling Track "Saryarka" thanks all the participants and co-organizers who supported this event: "Nur Otan", "Zhas Ulan", FC "Baiterek", BC "Astana", the Astana Diving Federation, the Kazakhstan Cycling Federation, Rhythmic gymnastics school "Zhuldyz" and hopes that this is not the last event that we hold together within the walls of our sports complex.
