On April 24, 2021, the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Pervomayskie Prudy" in rowing and canoeing started in the Almaty region.

More than 150 best athletes of national teams from 3 cities and 7 regions will take part in this start. Competitions will be held in 9 disciplines among boys and girls in 2 age groups (2003-2004 and 2005-2006)

It is worth noting that at the above start, for the first time in history, boys and girls will be able to race in the K2 mix 500 m and C2 mix 500 m disciplines, where the crew will be composed of one boy and one girl. This is one of the first and important starts for young men over the past year and a half.
