The republican Taekwondo tournament "Champion" was held for the first time, which took place from 27 to 29 April 2018. in Almaty. In the named tournament 30 our pupils competed. The organizer of the tournament was the Almaty club "Raiymbek".

As a result of the tournament, athletes of the Olympic Training Center for cycling won 12 medals, namely:
Bazhan Asyltas 1 place among cadets 12-14 years (47+ kg);
Brimzhanova Adema 2 place among junior girls 14-17years (42 kg);
Bakir Nurtas 2 place among children 10-11 years old (50+ kg);
Erkin Meir 2 place among children 10-11 years old (31 kg);
Kopzhasarov Yernar 2 place among children of 10-11 years old (38 kg);
Burlenova Eleonora 3rd place among juniors 14-17 years (49 kg);
Kalkul Didar 3rd place among children 10-11 years old (40+ k);
Nurumbetov Bekkali 3rd place among cadets 12-14 years (33 kg);
Slamkhanov Diana 3 seats among cadets 12-14 years (37 kg);
Akby Alisher 3 rd place among cadets (41 kg);
Abeteev Alibek 3 place among children 10-11 years old (40 + kg);
Baytazin Ilyas 3rd place among children 10-11 years old (31kg);
