A press conference was held today in the conference room of the Saryarka cycle track dedicated to holding the first Central Asian bodybuilding and fitness championship.

Serik Sapiyev, Chairman of the Sports and Physical Culture Committee of the MKS RK, Alexander Kolyuk, President of the Republican Bodybuilding Federation of IFBB, President of the AFBF Ochir Ganbaatar, and Athlete Ekaterina Shalamova participated in the press conference.

Recall that athletes from 6 countries: from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Afghanistan are invited and allowed to participate in the competitions. To date, confirmation of participation in the Championship has been received from representatives of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Preliminary applications are filed by more than 150 athletes.

Competitions will be held according to the rules of the International Federation of IFBB with the participation of representatives of the Asian regional block AFBF (Asian Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness) and the national block IFBB Qazaqstan.
