Today, August 8, in Nur-Sultan, the V Summer Spartakiad of the Republic of Kazakhstan on cycling on the track ended.

On the final days of the competition, medals were won in the elimination group race, keyrin and points group race.

In men in the group elimination race, a gold medal was won by Roman Vasilenkov (Karaganda region). Sultanmurat Miraliev (Shymkent) became the second, and Alisher Zhumakan became the third.

Rinata Sultanova (Pavlodar region) became the best in the women's elimination race. Faina Potapova from Almaty region climbed to the second step of the podium, and Svetlana Pashchenko closed the top three.

In keirin, there was no equal to the leader of the National Team of Kazakhstan, Pavel Vorzhev. Andrey Chugay from Akmola region became the second. Alexander Safarov replenished the piggy bank of the Almaty region with a bronze medal.

In the group race in points (120 laps), Alisher Zhumakan from the Almaty region won. Robert Gaineev won the silver medal, and Roman Vasilenkov won the bronze.

For women in a similar discipline, the victory was celebrated by Rinata Sultanova (Pavlodar region). Zhanerke Sanakbaeva lost four points to the winner, becoming the second. Alina Sarkulova (North Kazakhstan Region) closed the top three.

Recall that the fifth Spartakiad of the Republic of Kazakhstan in cycling on the track was held from August 3 to 8 in Nur-Sultan.
