The grand opening of the Winter Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in sprint and tempo cycling disciplines among men (with junior admission) and the national competition in group disciplines among women (with junior admission) took place today at the "Saryarka" velodrome.

A total of 108 cyclists are participating in the competition, representing the cities of Astana, Almaty, and Shymkent, as well as the regions of Akmola, Almaty, Zhambyl, Zhetisu, West Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Kyzylorda, Mangystau, Pavlodar, North Kazakhstan, and East Kazakhstan.

Today marks the first day of the championship, and it is already evident that the competition is exciting.
