On March 12, 2026, a working meeting with a delegation of representatives of the Russian Cycling Federation was held at the Saryarka Velodrome. The delegation arrived in Astana as part of the development of bilateral cooperation with the Kazakhstan National Cycling Federation.

During the visit, the guests became acquainted with the infrastructure of the Saryarka Velodrome and the modern conditions created for conducting training sessions and international-level competitions. The Russian representatives were presented with information about the capabilities of the sports facility and its technical equipment.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for further cooperation, exchange of experience, and the organization of joint events aimed at strengthening collaboration between the federations and developing cycling.
